|Stephen Tansey Chairperson||
My name is Stephen Tansey and I came here from England in 2005 to teach and be Head of Technology at the Kura. I was staff representative on the board for three years before I retired in 2014. I see representation on the board as an opportunity to use the knowledge and understanding gained during 40 years of teaching to support the Kura and the Doubtless Bay community. I am currently privileged to be the Board Chair.
In retirement I enjoy sailing, golf, fishing and looking after my new home in Cooper’s Beach. I am also Treasurer at Mangonui Cruising Club and a member of local environmental groups.

My name is Erin Walsh, I have lived in Taipa for 17 years. I have 2 teenage children, both attend TAS and have done since year 7. As a Nurse I have the privilege of working out in the community, visiting whanau in their homes. This has given me a snapshot of the challenges faced by some of our tamariki and their whanau, from a health perspective. I have been a member of the BOT for about a year now, and look forward to continuing to work with this team of dedicated board members and Tumuaki.

|Hello my name is Lisa Baker, I am the staff representative for your Board of Trustees. I attended Taipa Area School in the early 1980’s as a student, I have four children who have attended Taipa Area School also. I have worked at Taipa Area School for 10 years in the finance area, and previous to that I worked at Oruaiti School for 10 years. I had served previously on the Taipa Area School Board of Trustees as an elected member and then Chairperson before coming to work here. I never imagined as a pupil at Taipa Area School that I would one day be here working, but it is now my pleasure to do so.|
