These, and other
activities, are offered depending on student
demand and interest and the special abilities and interests of staff and
community members. Each year the school takes part in two significant events in
our local region
Tai Tokerau Cultural Festival (usually towards the end
of term 1)
and
Area Schools Sports Competition
The school also takes part in the local Science Fair
in term 3.
Taipa Area School also plans an Arts Week each year.
This involves participation with community arts groups and
individuals.
Each year drama productions have been performed by
members of the primary school or the Performing Arts class.
